The Micro-Vault
A high-density storage system for your Nintendo Switch physical media library.
Design Analysis: Engineered Density
This is an exercise in spatial economy. The objective: secure maximum digital assets within the smallest possible physical footprint. The solution is a hinged, dual-tray system. Each internal tray is precision-molded with 12 positive-retention slots, bringing the total system capacity to 24 game cartridges. The compact, squared-off form factor is designed for efficient packing and portability.
The Shell: Smoked Polycarbonate
The external chassis is constructed from a durable, semi-transparent "smoked" hard plastic. This material provides excellent impact and crush resistance while allowing for at-a-glance confirmation of the vault's contents. It acts as a robust barrier against dust, moisture, and everyday environmental hazards.
The Trays: Secure Cradling
The internal cartridge trays are engineered to cradle each game card securely. The slots provide just enough friction to prevent assets from dislodging during transit, yet allow for easy, single-handed removal. This protects the delicate contact points from unnecessary wear.
Identification Protocol: The Custom Lid
In a collection, clear identification is critical. The vault's top surface is a designated canvas. Your custom graphics—be it a personal logo, a library classification, or a piece of unique art—are applied via a high-resolution UV printing process. The ink is cured directly onto the plastic, creating a permanent, scratch-resistant mark of ownership.
